Stunning and unique pieces of Oak, Elm or Beech. Almost too good to cut anything on!

Each of these boards are cut to the shape and grain of the wood, so no two boards are the same. They often come from the end of longer pieces that we have used in staircases, cabinets or tables - we don’t like to waste any of this beautiful material.

The imperfections and variation are what makes wood so special, but its important that you can clean it too! So we will use bow ties to stop cracks from expanding and then fill them with epoxy resin so that your bread crumbs don’t get stuck in. If there is a live edge we will gently burn the edge to sterilise it but may leave more texture there.

The boards are all treated with Osmo products which are food safe and have very high environmental standard.
