We can work with you to make a new surround for a special window or door, renew all the windows in a room, or add our handcrafted products to your own house build.

Get in touch with us and we will discuss design, timber types and dimensions, getting an understanding of the space and your requirements. We will probably need to come and take very accurate dimensions before we commence.

A project like this uses long lengths of timber, often ‘bookmatched’ or cut in two, so opposite sides mirror grain patterns. We may have some pieces of seasoned wood in our store for this, but if its a bigger project we will have to select trees, mill, air-dry and follow a slow but special process through to a finished product. So get in touch with us early on! We will take a deposit when you commission us, a further payment during construction and a final payment when the project is complete.

We can use a range of stunning Scottish hardwoods - Elm with is dark tone and range of colours, toffee coloured Oak, or light straight Beech. Everything will be treated with Osmo oil which gives a ‘lickable’ surface, very high environmental standards, and a natural easy to clean finish.
